Too expensive for a car with a 1.6L engine.

The car was designed to target youngsters, they found that the youths today don't drive as much on the roads with access to internet/iphones/androids (trains and buses to commuting to and from on time).
That's why it has that aggressively spirited look and loaded with gadgets (even for ps3 gamers). Sorry but I can't see much happening with this priced entry level here. So then, what would the 1.8T be coming at?
A pity tho, cause it's a fantastic car Hyundai is on the right direction. The 1.6 isn't even TSI loaded so not sure how that costing came about over here, most creativity is on the passenger side rear door. It's also about rebuilding the brand - Hyundai was always a catch up, tag along name. Seems they've awoken. "New thinking - New Possibilites". If I had to invest that type of $$$ then I'll have to say the 1.4 TSI Jetta may take more my liking. But let's not drift ... management needs to revise their pricing and I guess it comes down to personal taste and how deep is your pocket. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKqArYgmAvs.

I believe the price dropped recently, however the turbo version is being released (in the US) close to the end of the year.. maybe we get to see that one ?

The veloster turbo comes with a 1.6 direct injection turbo. 200 hp therabouts - N&M says they're not sure if they'll bring it in.
