Postby kurpal_v2 » March 6th, 2012, 11:31 am

No box on hood

No one note bassline

No scrappy install

No missing low mid

Take your notebooks out local "installers" this is how it supposed to be.

Whoa, I wish more Trini vehicles would be built in this manner ie no midsbox and no stupid 40+ hz box tuning. 1sigh. Those mother effers are loud!

beast did not seem to give the rated output for what it seemed like 6 subs....

in a bp box done right that driver would not have been able to stay in the van like trippi's

when and i say "when " competitions are held with pple standing around the vehicle then will the way these mids are arranged will be relavant

i think the whole reason why systems like these do not exist in trinidad is that anyone who likes car audio enough to wanna do something like this cannot afford to do so. So they employ other methods to get the same sound for less which is, if i have learnt anything in my years of schooling, MORE EFFICIENT.

But there is the skill to do things like this for sure! I mean all the fellas that at a point in time worked at 12 volts now have moved on and doing great installs with alot of creativity and class like GSR customs, unique customs, and the like. But the local vehicles which cost maybe one quarter to half of what these cost, have reached the limit of what people in Trinidad are prepared to spend.

As for tuning low like these guys do, it is done locally. I have seen quite a few cars where we have gotten HAIRTRICKS like they do away. One being the 4 12" RE MTs in the wingroad by Porky, the 4 12" RE SE in another white wingroad, the 32 10" pioneer in the panel van also did a hairtrick, and who can forget the 20 10" T3 Audio in the Hiace by Robert.

Anyone who has seen the 20 10s in the hiace knows how deadly it is in the lows, and how many people gave him crap for it playing low. And i am confident Trippi or the Beast would not be as loud in the bass and definitely not louder in the mids department. I remember one show he was playing the set and officials from the gallery arena way across pier 2 came over and told him he couldn't play and to turn around. Then he did, and played again and an official from the IASCA db section came and told him that he couldn't play there either because it was messing up with his meter results; so there is no doubt in my mind that this T3 vehicle can shake glass too.

As i see it america no longer sets the bar for loud vehicles. They follow everything that people south of them do. Pro audio mids in cars was the first trend that they copied. Next and i am sure of it is gonna be pro audio mids on cars, lol, wait a few years they are a little behind schedule they now using seleniums, lol.
