average lifespan of SGV disc pads???

can you all share whats the expected lifespan of the front oem discpads.
I had to change mine at 24,000km.thought this was kinda low.

Generally, brake pads last approximately 40k km.
If you are doing a lot of stop and go driving, expect this to be shorter.
Did you check to see if the pads were evenly worn?
One pad wearing faster than another could indicate a stuck/sticking caliper or some other issue.

they were evenly worn,it was serviced by LSM and they advised to replace.
Thing is the vehicle has a problem with the rear brake,theres a vibration when you apply the brake,prolly a warped drum,jus wonderin if the rear bake could have caused the front pads to wear
out faster than normal

If the rear brake doesn't hold as it should, the front brakes will do all the work.
So your assumption is correct.
You should have the rear brakes fixed.

they last a long time.
SGV on 60K, change the front at 23k and never replaced the rear.
