I prefer

Ray ban, giorgio Armani for shades.

Nike, Calvin Klein, silhouettes for glasses

Where would I be able to get a good selection of Nike frames locally? Going semi rimless from next month.

Focus Vision on Coffee street in san fernando has some nice Nike frames. I got a black titanium for $1700 last year. The location might not be the most impressive bu they have some nice frames.

Strongly reccommed the Oakley "oil rig"(approx US 100). Had a pair of those, they were excellent till i sat on them, now i have a Timberland (US40) really good aswell especially for driving.
Still want to get a pair of Ray Ban in d the future.

@kevin thanks bud, ended up picking up my new pair just last week, I found a nike frame i liked in Ferreira's @ price plaza but they were a bit too narrow for my big head  Price was same $1700 as well

My new frames are the Navy Blue to the one above, just full frame and not semi-rimless.

They fit well, and anti-glare coating is definitely worth it! :D

First time I wore mine it felt strange too, kept putting my hand to adjust frame only to realize no glasses on. No headaches tho.

Vramps is the ar coating really worth it, after getting all the old talk of the do's and don'ts I decided not to waste my moÑey on it

I saw this available at VO.

Also I definitely recommend getting transitions if you are outdoors or getting glare a lot. I miss it :(

For me I get headaches with my contacts only because they are non-astigmatism pairs. I think if I get the proper testing ill be ok. It's weird at first but seeing in all angles is awesome. Just stick to the schedule and do the proper cleaning and you should be good to go. If its monthlies don't put it down for 3 months and go back to it (assuming you change the solution every month since this also lasts a maximum of 1 month)

serious??? I had hell trying to find a frame due to my narrow face, most frames too wide and look awkward

AR coating is definitely worth it if u watch TV, use computers and basically anything with a screen. Helps ALOT with glare.

Yup this is why I was advised to get them, but I have to TRY my best not to get them scratched. :(

Once u don't dry wipe them they won't get scratched. Wash them everyday too with dishwashing liquid and water

This is a no no according to some, must use the ar spray (ploy to buy their spray)

The girl also told me that the coating is somewhat vulnerable to heat which was another reason I didn't take them, I work in dust and heat and is not all the time I could walk with spray and a cloth in my pocket
