Welcome to 20 years ago....an imagine sea levels are predicted to rise. The engineer who said a elevated highway was not needed here should be made to stand in the flood an shot during an extra high tide.

Had water across two lanes this morning, traffic hit the shoulder. (4:15am crew)

No water all now.

Too narrow. Not to mention the humps and bridges that can accommodate one vehicle at a time.

New highway extension, Ghandi Village and Gopie trace is the flick.

I see in the papers last week that oas/govt agree to reroute a portion of the highway so that
certain businesses(smjaleel etc) would not be affected
