Jaysur Customs presents ADAPT2AUTO in collaboration with Auto Sport. First ever Gymkhana GRID and Rave to be held in T&T. Jaysur Customs will transform the ARC into a motor sport and rave extravaganza. See the best drivers in Drifting, Autocross, Karting, Drag & Wind, Rally and Circuit compete against each other.

Please note that all competitors must abide by the ARC's regulations regarding noise restrictions.

Question: What's the difference between Autocross and Gymkhana?

Answer: autocross is a precise course made up of traffic cones where typical corners are slaloms and 90 degree turns. The speed is much slower most vehicles don’t get out of 2nd gear, however, gymkhana is way faster and the course is much more complicated requiring doubling back onto the course and is typically made up of 360 an 180 degree turns around barrels and other obstacles...way more driver skill required.

Entry fee is $500 per competitor..entitles you to 2 passes for driver and one for Mechanic...2 vehicle passes inclues competition vehicle and you will be sharing a tent with another competitor due to limited space. Venue for briefing will be Wednesday before and will be announced.

We have confirmed 5 from Karting thus far plus 5-8 more tentative.
We also have 5 more rally drivers to confirm.

As stated by our team while contacting ALL members of the rally club and circuit drivers.
Vehicles will be tested by the Jaysur Customs / Performance team to ensure all noise levels are within requirements as dictated by ARC Management and EMA requirements.
Vehicles with anti lag must be switched off or silenced.
All cars driving on the day of the event must be within appropriate decibel levels.
Vehicles that are not sure of their decibel level may contact the Jaysur Performance/ customs team prior to the event for a decibel test on their vehicle so there will be no surprises on the day.
Any competitors found drinking alcohol before the competition is completed will be automatically disqualified.
There will be no coolers permited at the event, no glass bottles and no alcoholic beverages allowed in the Pit Area. This includes co-drivers,mechanic/ additional vehicles and passengers that anyone may wish to be in the vehicle. As always all co-drivers or passengers must wear long pants and must have on a helmet.
The security at the event will have a watchful eye for any alcohol in the pits so please comply with these rules.

Just for clarification on those not sure if their vehicles are too loud. This is not for normal noise levels. There is a concern that anti-lag or excessively loud circuit/rally/drag cars (without exhaust) may scare the horses at ARC. We must abide by these rules as users of the venue. We will be checking decibel levels from Friday 29th November until the day of the Briefing.
Wednesday 4th December 2013. Please call any A2A committee member for details. This will be done free of charge and will only take 5-10 mins.

Due to the overwhelming response from many competitors (Especially the Rally and Circuit fraternity) that want to test their vehicles' decibel level and to ensure that Jaysur Customs Adapt 2 Auto keeps within the agreed decibel level as stipulated by ARC and EMA.

We are pleased to announce that we will be checking all cars that wish to be tested this
Saturday 30th November 2013.
@ Mosport Bar in Caroni from 3:30 to 6:30 pm.

1.We will have the Decibel Testing and a brief description on what will be expected on the day of the event. The vehicles concerned about there sound level are asked to be at mosport between the hours of 3:30 and 6:30 pm. The sound check will be conducted by a certified technician. These persons will also be there on the day of the event to ensure the levels tested on Saturday are maintained.
2. We will Finalize the Music-Synchronized Drift segment (Members of the drift fraternity wishing to get more clarification on this segment are also asked to attend. So a decision can be made whether or not we can come to an agreement on the terms of the drifting segment.)
This does not in any way impact the pre-race A2A Gymkhana briefing scheduled for Wednesday 26th November 2013.

This sound check is not mandatory for all competitors. Those vehicles that don't normally compete at ARC and have loud unrestricted exhausts or loud anti lag are asked to do the sound check to ensure levels are kept within the stipulated levels.

As mentioned previously vehicles will be checked again on the day of the event and during the event to ensure all levels that are tested Saturday are maintained throughout the event.

Vehicles that can adjust the ignition cut on their anti-lag/ launch control can use this opportunity to determine what would be a reasonable decibel level.

This would allow less noisy backfiring and still allow the vehicle to be competitive.
