Looking to get some Distilled water asap...how the temps with coolant tho?
The board turns on btw...well sometimes.
Most of the times it turns on and off repeatedly

If I take out the 750 it turns on and stays on but from the moment I put it back in it does the same thing. The times it does turn on well with the gpu it says no drives detected while there is a ssd and hdd in there. Switched connections, cleared bios same thing.

The gpu problem confusing me too cause it working on my x58 board.
At the moment it back to turning on and off repeatedly

Merry Christmas btw fellas :D

Sounds like the board gone or messed up. For distilled water just get some battery water as for coolant I never tried it before but I can tell you Redline Water Wetter works well. Does not drop temps that much but it stabilizes it. I use to get 76c with my 2500k @ 5Ghz when using prime 95, sometimes it would spike around the 74-78c but with the water wetter it is stable at 73c.

Add about 4 cap fulls of it to your loop, mine is around 500ml so give or take with that. It also works well with mayhems dye so no need to worry about it messing up the color or anything.

Merry Christmas all.

Straight distilled/battery water with a few drops of PTNuke biocide/silver killcoil or a bottle of swiftech hydrx coolant works very well.

If conductivity/spill issues bother you too much u can use the Feser one coolant.

Will have to see if I can get this thing running first ughh
All it does now is say that no drives detected and jumps to Marvell 8es61xx initializing and stays there.

Unplugged everything usbs etc the ssd/hdd
Same thing
Cant even get into the BIOS to change any settings.

Feser coolant works great.
77C @ 4.3 GHz with 1.35V...full load.

Considering it's a 6-core CPU with HT enabled...I can't complain about the temps.

Nicee will be draining it soon.
The board works. For some reason it wasnt working with the 750 but it worked with my 560 with bad vram.
All I did was install windows on the ssd. Will have to get another GPU for it to finish set it up

posting this info here for tuners it may benefit.

how to make your own windows bootable flash drive

all credit goes towards the original author "RendiN" and his post can be found here
>>>> http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to- ... /?ALLSTEPS

Step 1: Using DISKPART command

Image

Insert your USB flash drive to your running computer. As the first step, we need to run Command Prompt as administrator. To do this, we need to find cmd by typing 'cmd' in the search box on Windows Start Menu. After search result for 'cmd' appears, right click on it and select "Run as administrator".
Type 'diskpart' on Command Prompt (without quotes) and hit Enter. Wait for a while until the DISKPART program run.
Type 'list disk' to view active disks on your computer and hit Enter. There would be seen that the active disks shown as Disk 0 for hard drive and Disk 1 for your USB flashdrive with its total capacity.
Type 'select disk 1' to determine that disk 1 would be processed in the next step then hit Enter.
Type 'clean' and hit Enter to remove all of data in the drive.
Type 'create partition primary' and hit Enter. Creating a primary partition and further recognized by Windows as 'partition 1'.
Type 'select partition 1' an hit Enter. Choosing the 'partition 1' for setting up it as an active partition.
Type 'active' and hit Enter. Activating current partition.
Type 'format fs=ntfs quick' and hit Enter. Formatting current partition as NTFS file system quickly.
Type 'exit' and hit Enter. Leaving DISKPART program but don't close the Command Prompt instead. We would still need it for next process.

Step 2: Creating Boot Sector

Let us assume that the flash / USB drive is the e: drive and the DVD installer located on drive d :. The first step, we will navigate Command Prompt to set installation DVD as its active directory.

By default, Command Prompt's active directory for Administrator permission is on C:\Windows\System32>. We will navigate Command Prompt to set on DVD (D:) as its active directory. Just type 'D:' then hit Enter, and the active directory changed to D:.
Type 'cd boot' and hit Enter. Active directory changed to D:\boot>.
Type 'bootsect /nt60 e:' and hit Enter. Creating boot sector on E: drive (USB flash drive).
Type 'exit' and hit Enter to close the Command Prompt. Until this step we have made a bootable USB drive sucessfully, and the flash drive is ready to be used as a boot media.

Step 3: Copying Installation Files

To install Windows from a bootable USB drive, we just need to copy the whole installation files contained on the DVD installer to flash drive. To do this, open the Command Prompt as in previous steps. Once it opens, type 'xcopy D: \ *. * E: \ / E / H / F' and then press Enter. Wait until all the files in the DVD installer copied to the flash drive. Now bootable USB drive is ready to be used for installing Windows from flash drive and you're done !

^ So why not just use Windows 7 USB DVD Download tool or Rufus instead of going through all that? It just takes about 10 clicks and you have a bootable USB drive.

Switch !monitors or switch the monitor to a different source, this will help isolate whether its the monitor, PC, cable, or jacks.

Sometimes the jacks have bad pins or solders to the board. By swapping components out and in, he could narrow down. I have encountered bad chords, bad jacks, bad cards and bad monitors.

Switch the chord then if it doesn't work then the monitor and/or card.

Yes it can be demoed just fine,
going rate seems to be 300usd on eBay for a used one,
much less than I paid but that's ok,
it won't be available until March at the earliest though as I still need to use it for r&d until the new one arrives.
Just wanna try and let someone else experience it locally rather than sell it on eBay.

Oculus would have had me at 400 US, but 600 US? Nah boi?

I'd much rather get a 1440p, IPS, 144 Hz monitor with GSYNC for that money.

VR will have to wait on me just a little bit longer.

Is the card worth anything anymore?
