get a fuel filter housing from a GDI cedia that has the 2 return line nipples. The fuel pressure regulator is located in that assembly. You will have to run a separate return line from the high pressure pump to the fuel filter housing. That's what I did.

Tuners good day

I did a swap to 4g93t (GDI) on a CS3 lancer. As a result I need some advice on suspension upgrades.
So far I changed control arm and steering rack bushings to Whiteline polyurethane.
Since the swap however there’s been a constant crackle upon pulling off, applying brakes from high or low speeds, turning and as soon as the front wheels start going over humps/bumps.
From this, anyone had similar symptoms or can possibly offer a solution?
Even recommend a sane, knowledgeable suspension person?

AH FED UP of the different possible fixes from my recently knighted jack@$$ of an all rounded mechanic…I need to get the issue rectified urgently.

A crackle you say? I did the same swap, also changed cradle bushing to whiteline. The only noise I get is from my engine mounts being gone only after a couple months, the lower mounts, not the top

@Kronik
all the mounts changed too. i did some research too on my end and well i gonna check the strut mounts. is basically with every flex the car makes. like the slight raising of the front when pulling off or dipping when slowing. idk but i still will check the mounts. thanks man. btw you had to upgrade struts? like switch to coilovers for eg?

No I never upgraded the struts. Have the normal one and have no problem, a good upgrade would be the wagon one. If you can replicate the noise by bumping the car, you and a friend or mechanic, one bump the front and the other go under the car and try to locate the source of the noise. At what change did it start making noise? Changing cradle bushing or after the engine swap?

Yup noisy, used to use 10w40 and switched to 20w50 recently to see if would help but it's getting worse.
