Yep had the same issue and it was the blower..... they go bad. If you tap the dash it might start back working. I ran mine until it went completely.

Hey guys I have a RORO Mazda 3 (2007 model) and the alternator pulley seems to be bad.

I was advised by my electrician that the clutch pulley type I have may be hard to find..

Does anyone know where (other than the stealership) I can get this?

For the benefit of others in the thread Maztune didn't have them. I got a Thailand substitute from Faiz in marabella ($700.00), My electrician mentioned it may not last too long. I'm gonna replace with a brand called INA made in Germany. It comes in a green box, make sure the pulley has Made in Germany on it.

Hey Guys , I took my 2012 mazda 3 for a transmission flush at Federals on Cipero, They said they had the mazda transmission fluid. after the flush when i asked what type of transmission fluid they put it was Motocraft mercon V . form what i researched about this motocraft merton V it says
Not for use in applications where MERCON(R) SP, MERCON(R) LV, Continuously Variable Chain Type Transmission Fluid, Motorcraft(R) Premium Automatic Transmission Fluid, FNR5 Automatic Transmission Fluid or Type F Automatic Transmission Fluid is recommended
Apparently they think Mercon V is the same as ATF M-V type M5 . (i asked two different personnel working there and mind you they both said and i quote "original mazda fluid". So what you guys think should i get another flush done and remove the Mercon V , i read about redline D4 atf . any thoughts opinions , comments?

You need to get your transmission flushed ASAP....If your car is CVT Mazda has a CVT fluid or can use Amsoil CVT....The Mazda ATF M-V is for the Torque converter type transmission, what you'll find in the Local Mazda 3 , Foreign Used Mazda 3 2.0L and Mazda 6.

I'm assuming you have the Japanese spec Mazda Axela, which is a 1.5L engine and came CVT ....sealed transmission.

Yes thats the one. I am really disappointed that "professionals would put the wrong transmission fluid (mind you its was costly) . i Saw Federals was highly recommend on this forum.
ok so ill have to buy the transmission fluid myself and have it changed. Any top 2 recommendations for which ones to use ?

I have a stupid question (new car owner here) , Ok how does one tell if their car is cvt , is a sealed transmission any indicator of this ?
(owners manual and everything else in Japanese , don't say check owners manual lol)

This is the Mazda spec fluid - Mazda CVTF 3320... Mazda uses a metal belt so Amsoil willl work fine it's about $90-$100 a quart. Will need 8 quarts....

Given that the Garage recommended the oil based on their "professional experience"....you may have a case with your lawyer or consumer affairs....

I'm not sure how long you ran the car with the wrong oil ....but it will also be recommended to take down the transmission and check to ensure there was no damage to valve body, clutches, belt etc...
