Wow wow wow... Great race today at Spa... Scraps, touches and crashes all around.

I personally didn't like Verstappen's overly aggressive defense against Raikonnen and then Checo.

Great job from Hamilton to make it to 3rd from the back of the grid.

F1 was just sold for 8B

Same guy who just bought Cable and Wireless.

Hopefully we get some decent coverage now.

Worst "race" of the year. Hopefully F1 is more exciting next year.

At least the MotoGP race earlier this morning was worth watching even though the championship was already decided.

Pressure was to much... didn't you all see his expression after the race! He just can't handle the pressure.

However I'm happy for him, he has a young family and he's doing what's best for them.

Questions is, who will get his seat. Will it be Wehrlein, Ocon (not really), Jenson or Alonso.
Heck even Massa.

Red Bull would never release Max, but it's a possibility.

Mechanical failures for Lewis alone?

Clutch problems for Lewis alone?

And when Nico bouncing, he can say that he has a race to win.

Watch out with Lewis's comments about what he will write about when he retires.

Interesting to see who will be the second Mercedes driver!

Another bit of speculation.... suppose Nico demanded that Lewis be fired or else he goes.... and the rest is history!

y'all does even watch the races before making them kinda statements?
monaco when nico was struggling to find grip, and moved aside to let lewis pass...lewis called him a gentleman afterward....who remembers that?
Slow puncture for nico
Both of them having the same weird power problem and nico figuring out how to fix it....team sabotage lewis brain?
lewis's bad starts...
but yeah he lost cuz the team was sabotaging him, else he woulda win
:/

Nah. You win the title half because Lewis was under-performing. If he didn't have the engine blow up at the Malayan grand prix, he would be champion.

Lewis has a good 4 to 5 seasons left in him at the very least. But this season told him that even though he is leagues ahead of everyone else, don't take it for granted and "phone in" your performance. Losing 2016 is an embarrassment. Lewis is going to go into 2017 showing it's not the car that wins championships, it's the driver. Especially with the 2017 changes.

Button should be the next driver for Mercedes. Button deserves a winning car.

Who said anything about sabotage? Not me. I stand by my statement that Rosberg knows that he is unlikely to have another season where Lewis has so many engine problems. On equal terms Lewis has clawed back point deficits TWICE this season. Rosberg moved over because he had no chance of winning the race in Monaco. If you think he would have moved over for Hamilton in the last race of the season with the championship in the balance then you're naive. Also Rosberg admitted he was slow in Monaco because he was afraid in the wet. Add to the fact that the Constructor's title was still up for grabs and of course he would move over easily for the team.

*Hamilton drops 43 points largely due to IDENTICAL engine failures in Russia and then China after the first four races.
*Hamilton has to start at the back the grid because he has to serve a penalty for using up engines.
*Hamilton leading Malaysian GP and does not finish due to...engine failure again.

Even if you want to go on both drivers messing up equally re bad starts and lack of pace in the wet respectively this year was the best chance of beating Lewis simply due to the number of mechanical failures.

The real gentleman Nico handling pressure really well here:

The last few laps of the Abu Dhabi GP were phenomenal.

With Lewis going 9 seconds slower than his pole lap to back Nico up into the Red Bulls..
