used this 2 weeks ago to clean the a/c..

Smelt great and the a/c was minty fresh for an entire week..... although the scent has gone, the a/c never felt cleaner..
Bought it in Valpark car shop for $95.....

Good night people first time cs3 owner here but i think i bought an egg. I purchased one about a week ago for the wife to run around with ( daycare and work same area ) so i know its not gonna get any kind of abuse. The last car she had it 3 years and didn't even make a good 18000k on it. Anyways to sum it up the car works fine when the place is cool or open road, no overheating or anything but as soon as the place is really hot or in traffic and you stop and leave it in drive the car start to idle very very heavy, slap it in neutral and the idle is fine ( car dead silent) soon as you start to roll again and stop same thing heavy idle ( the temp gauge stays on half tho) so no over heating. Both fans are also work very good in the car evrything is fine unless in traffic or better yet if the car is on for more than 2 hours.
Also had one time i felt like there was delay in gearing down when i had to apply brakes suddenly, car came to a complete stop but you still felt the tranny gearing down to first

Engine in the car is the 1.8
Vehicle is a pce glx ( Singapore )

The only fuel filter it has, is inside the gas tank bro. It's hooked up to the fuel pump

There are two filters. The pump filter aka tea bag which is hooked to the pump as well as a mesh type canister which the fuel passes through before returning to the tank from the return line.

Yes I know about the fuel filter is inside the fuel tank and access is behind the rear seat, so the pump use a filter like a tea bag, Iam looking for the other one that is bigger and come near or cover the fuel pump assy.

Hey fellas,

Any of you used Royal Purple or Kendall as yet? Wanted to know if these are comparable to traditional oils used by the firm (Mobil 1, Shell).
Thanx much.

Last time I checked it wasn't that expensive. That is a crazy price. The Mitsubishi SPIII grade oil is the only oil to use in the transmission of CVT CS Lancers. They go for around $80 a quart. Definitely not $195.

dont know why men does come to ask for advise and then dont listen.

alcom2222 as BH and Dave said CVT SP111 oil is what is needed for your CS CVT tranny, this sells for 80-90 dollars a quart.
You can get this at autorama, Juarwans, Ausco, etc...Im am positive of the price and yes you need approx 5 quarts.

The oil you got quoted for is for the CY CVT transmission and not the CS. I have heard of ppl using hyundai sp111 and castrol sp111 as alternatives but cant say for sure if there were any ramifications as a result.
My advise is stick to the original oil as it isnt hard to find.

Does the CS3 have a A/C cabin filter?

fan on full, and not much air force out the vent.
thinking there may be an a/c filter, but no mention in the pdf's i got for the car, and the screws behind the glove box are difficult to get at.
