New cap, rotor, wires and plugs really compliment a new coil.

I just turned the bracket.
I used one stock hole and found another hole close by so I got thru with it.

I removed the resistor since I went from points and condenser to electronic.

Thanks :!:

Well, latest with this, changed 4 shocks, 4 tires.
saved up some money as i was in school for 2 years, so with school and the car project my finances wasnt all that.

the car is currently being painted, 9 weeks inside so far, should get it hopefully this week.

man, this is a financial mistake.

good thing is labour is free for the mechanic work.

I now read through most of this thread... Financial mistake maybe; if you bought the car to learn and practise on you getting that but as a daily, it sounds like it requires some money and work before it becomes reliable enough.
I not calling anything on you but sometimes the more work and TLC you put in... The harder it is to let go

It's intended on a daily. Never used it for such. Hopefully soon I could start using it for that purpose

Looking for information about converting a l24 from automatic to manual. Anyone knows what gearbox would work, im not aware of any gearbox that would work here besides a bluebird 910 gearbox. Heard you really need a 5th doe I have heard about using RB gearboxes but anyone knows locally about what does it entails?

I honestly love the l24, loved the 28 alot more. I have a weber 32/36 to install but it needs a gasket kit and a power valve.

I honestly keep forgetting to take the pics, yesterday i adjusted the valves. Made a fair improvement, but im getting a problem, there's a wire on my carb from my experience this needs to be connected to the coil i believe to keep the vehicle fully cut off.

right now occasionally i get a little running after i switch off. i forget for the life of me the proper name for this.

Ted just connect to a wire from your fuse box that works when you switch on the ignition..u don't necessarily need to connect to coil...any accessory with close by will be fine for the carb

SR/RB box will work with the l series bell housing. Will have to grind down the casting around the hole for the 2nd shaft and use a smaller bearing for that shaft.

Car still in the making, i painted it, ran it for a while, well my dad.

removed the head yesterday, valves wasnt seating properly due to running with a bad carb.

so far two exhaust valves was seeping and the intakes not to great either.
doing a head-job right now.

32/36 when i finished, im fedup with these nikki carbs, garbage IMO. always need to tinker.

RB25 anything after oui or a good TD27
