Looked around for a 90 degree fitting and couldn't get one to cut and join the line. My question is if I can use a piece of copper line like ac units use and make the bend with that. Is there anything wrong with using copper despite it being soft?
Would have posted in the tech forum but things a bit slow in there. A week noe tge car parked up. I wanna drive.
Thanks

Just to make the 90 fitting? No issue except minor chance of blow out as the copper will have no barbs, but is the low pressure side, just make it long enough to go into the hose.

Where you get that?racedriverpro wrote:The perfect thing...5/8 hose
Might work depending on how tight the bend is and the space available... braided would made a wide 90 degree from my experience...dont want it to tight since it would transfer tension to the ends...Curtms wrote:What about braided line ?
nervewrecker wrote:Racedriver, That's what im looking for and cant find it.
Edit, about the braided line, dont really have time to shop but suggestions as to where sells are welcome. Kinda really busy these days
I was thinking about the spring too.rspann wrote:I now think up a good solution. I have hoses on my hydraulic equipment that have a spring over the hoses to prevent them from kinking and also protects them . Will put a pic just now.
