If you know Narine is poorer against pace than spin i.e. he scores less runs and at a lower strike rate and is dismissed more frequently why would you not only open with spin but continue with it after seeing him demolish the spinners you put forth?

Kohli disappointed with that decision there. To me was even more dissapointing than his and ABD's inability to get RCB closer to 200.

IMO CSK has balance that KKR doesn't. My money would be on them. However T20 just requires one player to come good for 4 overs for a match to turn r.e. Bravo and Narine in round 1, so anything really is possible,

Just found out one of our premier local cricket umpires who has stood as a reserve umpire for international games has passed away - Camal Basdeo.
He was also instrumental in the development of the local game with local teams and the national U16 team.

RIP!!

Logic is less pace on the ball means less chance of batsman getting away with mis hit or miss timed stroke/shot
