Ent upon inspection ..they suppose to check everything? Like lights working ..brakes...tint laws , tyres , threadwear..etc..
For me they never check those ...Only they open up hood and check mileage.. Corruption or what?

This is a quite infuriating situation.
I inspected all vehicles last year and there were no stickers, my inspection station only just rec'd stickers late last week and is presently matching same to certificates issued last year.
The exercise will take a reasonable time and additionally there is panic with a ton load of vehicle turning up for inspections.
Stickers most certainly will run-out again.
Is really a-set-a mad people running this place oui.

No special sticker aside from the anti-removal/transfer, "buss up" feature

Ent something similar blew up on social media not too long ago? It was claimed that people getting charged for driving uninspected vehicles which also caused a sudden rush at inspection stations. As it turned out there wasn't any clamp down and there was speculation that it was an attempt to drum up business by the inspection stations. Wouldn't be surprised if something similar is going on here.

No excuse though...just get your vehicle inspected and done the worries. $ 5,000.00 kinda hard to lose in this guava season...:|

"...at the licensing division the adequate books, stickers and complete packages available for purchase by owners of the private vehicle testing station. All outstanding backlog has been cleared and stickers are available for all private and commercial vehicles at all inspection centers...in that regard any private vehicle owner going to any inspection center must insist that they receive a sticker. Failure to do so the vehicle owner has a duty to report the inspection center to the licensing division immediately..."

Interesting. It would explain the alleged racket that is taking place i.e. if testing stations can "hold back" stickers from legitimate owners (knowing that authorities will accept inspection certificates) they can make a li'l extra dinero selling them on the side...:|

Spoke to a Licensing Officer last night, who reiterated what he was saying for the past year & more, "There are no Stickers in POS..."
Sinanan talkin up in he rass, like he was most likely told to, PNM puppetry to create havoc & panic amongst the motoring public to deviate population from some crime PNM goin put down or already Galleon-ing down...
Commercial vehicles, mostly truckers should flock to all LOs and fog up their area, cause a lil turmoil on them for once...
