few days ago i had a chat with a few wasa workers doing some work in d road - kinda stuff they told me , wasa is soooo mismanaged , corrupted . lacking of tools , owing contractors multi millions , being owed multi millions by customers , men not coming to work , some if they sent to do a job & rain fall they done work for d day etc

govts coming\going\coming back in & none really improving this country's water problems ...

Good morning residents, as you would know, there has been a disruption in our water supply since last night. The video was taken this morning on the corner of Redman Lane Don Miguel, right in front of the Don Miguel Hindu School.

I have contacted WASA's Area Manager who is aware of the situation and is looking into repairing the problem.

I went by a relative in cunupia...man told me that almost every 3 weeks he has to empty his tanks and refill because any time water comes back...it does be like mauby....yuh actually seeing the stains running down the tank...like wtf jed

that is pressure, if he has multiple tanks he might be advised to try cascading from one to the other so most of the slush get trapped in first rather than all fill at the same time and use a pool sand filter

Maybe the bobol in the tender/construction of the plant has something to do with it?

We lucky that plant was ever built , imagine if it was not.

The govt should be looking to build another or attracting private investors

But I suspect bobol better utilized elsewhere

Not really, the water produced by 10 desal plants still has to go on WASA's rotten leaky transmission network.
