Yeah bai. A lot of people bridge, or run "direct". That makes the car work worse than before. Best to buy a controller.

I need to get this from G as well. Even when car is cold, once I put key into ON position, fans come on. Yikes

Hpfly will be an easy install. I'm quite unfamiliar with these Mitsus

Holy bump

So did over my cooling system and including fan control module
I notice that the fans come on @195f or s and cuts out @ 185f around

But what I notice is I get low speed fans on after some spirited driving temps would reach 210-214f and fans could come on again but at low speed only...the only time I'll see the fans kick in at high speed is when I turn the AC on in car

Thermostat system from Evo 9 fitted to Evo 7 just for reference

What checks can be made to see the fans kick in at high speed after a hard run

Other than an aftermarket gauge, you probably need to listen and hear the high speed. I believe that thermostat maybe interchangeable through the years. I run an eclipse thermostat which is a few degrees cooler but not ridiculously lower than stock.

Also I'm using a cs3 fan control module that's my next part to swap out ..and I'll swap out the coolant temp sensor that I got with the evo 9 thermostat housing and put back my original one...will update tmrw findings

I think it's the temp sensor as well.
