I could be wrong eh, I really doubt that little adjustment to delay abil is going to have any kind of significant effect as a deterrent to a hardened criminal. no bail for 3 months on those charges eh really gonna be doing much, dem fellas will breeze out that time & come out & start back their usual kaka

I'd rather they made all those offenses punishable by a minimum term of 20 years with hard labor & strokes, except for illegal firearm possession. That should be treated the same way as a murder charge, no bail at all & if found guilty is a upside down necktie made outta rope fuh dem

They should simply amputate the trigger finger for each firearm offense

It is best to ship all the people that vote for this goverment to tobago. Then we will see crime drastically reduced in Trinidad. We wil still have 1% crime to deal with but the main crime will be reduced.

Kill the head of the snake and crime will be reduced.

But the head of the snake are the good folks that financially support this goverment which are not the 99%

PNM was hoping that the opposition would not support it then they could use that to score points.

But it has to go to the Senate now.

Bail amendment for hard core criminals but white colour criminals just keep on making more money.

Best use Pens instead of guns like the backers of PNM

Now we need a bill to restrict bail to 98 days, fur use of a cutlss or knife longer than 8" but not exceeding 24".
There will another bill to restrict bail to 130 days for cutlasses in excess of 24".

Arse-Wari already saying that they need 3 years to "fix" crime. Goebbels still attacking the UNC, even though they voted in favour of the bill. Supremely kantishly of course, is JUHN Scarfy blaming judges for granting bail. Bail is a person's right, not something to arbitrarily take away because you cannot control crime.

what else yuh expect him to say when after almost four years with both his thumbs planted firmly up his arse & his head busy up Keiths backside like he is a colon ispector, with a general election coming in little over a year?

Still will not work, they will get prosthetic and then that will be the fashion.... like captain hook....
BTW it always amazes me how foolish our politicians are, imagine after the bill passed, Rodney Charles said he can "guarantee" that there will be no reduction in crime. How can one guarantee that there will be no reduction in crime? The man put a big black cloud over the party by just opening he mouth yes!
