Prominent church they say. Anyone knows which? This is surreal in 2019.

It doesn't feel sufficient to describe this news/discovery as disturbing.

Postby VII » October 9th, 2019, 8:57 am

Unwittingly drove into to something like this in Cumoto some years ago while doing gravel business looking for sale for pit-run police raid in progress and they had guns trained on us,myself and my son in our company frontier ,my brother in Prado leading the way as he knew the people.

Police eventually realized we were good guys and showed us what was taking place the man had about 10-12 slaves shackled and burnt about the body and abused otherwise..

The police man said this is going to be big and he never saw anything like it ,we were in shock and expected big news stories but nothing happened,my brother said he saw the man normal after a few days,no charges no news nothing...

Never seen anything like it in my life,it's the lowest of the low..my brother said he was hearing that they were people working for the man and he caught them stealing etc..but I don't buy that..

Whatever the case cumoto police made it go away..

I remember it well it was the same Saturday some fools here wanted me to kill a whiteboy because he was drunk in the club and came around my wifey trying to dance and pulling her hand etc but she and security dealt with him well lol...it is the same kind of mentality that would do that to humans ..I had to explain to the paper rich losers that I don't operate like that and do not wish to bring pain on anyone..unless it's clear self defense of course...But the little pigs couldn't wrap their entitled heads around that kept calling me to sorta encourage me to ride for the man..

As disheartening as this is it is very easy for small Rooster people to do among others for all kinda dastardly reasons...Trinis are getting more and more sick, the poor simple ones looking more and more sane .

Some lil rich small Rooster will easily have you shackled for their satisfaction...

Sick place..

CCN TV6 -
A pastor was among three people detained by police this morning, following the discovery of 69 people being held at an Arouca facility described as a “church”.

Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith described the case as “virtual modern day slavery”.

He said the scene was barbaric and there were reports that some of the 65 men and four women were being tortured.

He said Taser guns and batons were seized.

Griffith said each case would be thoroughly investigated as it appeared that some family members were deliberately sending their loved ones to gain profit.

The “slaves” would also undergo thorough medical examinations as some claimed to have been there for years.

The sting operation, coordinated by Griffith and executed by the Special Operation Response Team (SORT) went to the church at around 11pm on Tuesday.

“We have now cracked what is the biggest situations pertaining to human trafficking in this country,” he said.

The Express was told that families would take their drug addicted relatives to the facility for help.

At the end of the treatment period, the managers would often advise that the addicts be kept for an additional period, at an additional cost.

The ‘inmates’ were not allowed to leave the location and security guards on duty were not allowed to take cell phones beyond the walls. One security guard was fired when he raised issue with the treatment of the inmates.

It is alleged that the ‘inmates’ were underfed, beaten, and caged. Some are mentally challenged.

TTPS PRESS STATEMENT at 5.39a.m.

In a sting operation coordinated by the Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith and executed by the Special Operation Response Team (SORT), the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) has rescued sixty-nine (69) T&T citizens (65 men and 4 women) ranging in ages from 20 to their 60’s, all held captive, where most of them were in cages and some handcuffs.

The operation commenced at approximately 12:15am on Wednesday at a prominent church on Eastern Main Road, Arouca. Search warrants were issued pursuant to Section 13 Chap. 12:10 of the Trafficking in Persons Act, after a period of monitoring and investigations.

Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith, Deputy Commissioner of Police Operations (Ag.) Jayson Forde, the TTPS’s Victim and Witness Support Unit, Northern Division C.I.D. are also on scene as at 5:30am today, assisted by a medical unit comprising of doctors, nurses and ambulance attendants from the North Central Regional Health Authority, who are also conducting initial on-scene examinations of the rescued nationals.

As a result thus far, six peoples were arrested at the church which is supposed to be a rehabilitation centre. Reports were given to senior officers months ago about possible imprisonment of persons and Commissioner Griffith, who spearheaded the operation, is now investigating possible negligence of duties of officers. Subsequent reports will be issued in the near future.

They had to be caged and tortured. That's how demon spirits possess people and cause them to do bad things like have mental illnesses and have horrible drugs addictions. And they only muttering madness and rolling their eyes. Only the righteous lash of Jesus on the Cross could save people like that. This is Church Rehab 101 since 600 A.D. And then it was discovered after much science and experiments that burning the possessed person (and witches!!) at the stake releases the demon spirit and sends the tortured soul straight into Jesus' loving arms.

Religion on the whole is humanity's greatest hindrance to real progress .

Instead of labelling and teaching kids about brother killing brother and all kinds of sick teachings from birth why not open their minds to real progressive ideas?

My first experience with murder jealousy genocide and bloodshed was sunday school..

What a depressing and negative way to start life..

blood blood blood and sacrifice..

Pure witchcraft..

Not surprised this is happening in T&T. Very very sad... hope the pastor and others make a jail.
