BBQ question to coal or not to coal

There is no easy way to adapt the yankee connector to our 20lb tanks.

I cut mine and got a male to male nipple adapter made by Trinidad hose to make connection between the difference in hose sizes and can then put a longer piece going to the 20lb head

Ideally it should be at least shaded. Do not store indoors however.

Propane tanks use to be available from pricesmart. Then you will have to drop it off by np ( sea lots) to filled
There may be other locations where It can also be dropped

Screw that propane tank complications. Trinidad hose making an adapter for the America hose to our local hose size. $75.
3 hose clamp and a 10 feet of hose extra and use we regular tanks and regular heads. Buy gas in any parlour or gas station.

they just weld the two barbed sizes together, i 4get what dimensions
i already hook up the one i bought so you cant even get any pics

you just need to tell them you want a fitting to connect the propane size hose to our regular gas hose

I was thinking about an adapter to attach to the grill's external regulator with some kinda fitting to connect to our local LPG heads

The grey hose heads, the IGT brand has a smaller barb than the blue and red ones.
It actually fits in the smaller propane hose.

Bought one of these myself in a Courts sale recently. That price is good because I paid about $269 after discount and I've since seen it in a few stores for around $350. I am yet to set mine up but I say if you just want something for a small occasional BBQ you definitely cant go wrong.

I purchased one of similar size about 12 years ago in price smart and still going strong. I use mine as back-up grill for when I go beach house or small Bbq for the family due to its portability. Therefore it is used only a few times per year

Problem with those cheaper grills is that the base burns out. So for infrequent use as a back-up grill it works fine .

If you are planning to use it as a main grill for bbq every two weeks. Go bhagwansingh and purchase a Weber.

Anyone in the group owns two smokers that uses different fuel sources

1) Gas
2) Electric
3) charcoal
4) stick burner (wood Logs)
5) pillet

I would like your feedback on difference in taste.

I have only used charcoal. But looking for additional views after reading reviews online.

I owned a Weber Smokey mountain charcoal as well as a stumps style gravity fed charcoal smoker

Presently use an lpg fired self built one.
No difference at least with mine.

I have heard electrics may have taste differences and they usually lack smoke ring which requires combustion.
