Valvoline TT Launch

On Monday January 30, 2017, AdON Engineering Services Limited formally announced its appointment as Valvoline’s authorized distributor for Trinidad and Tobago.  The media event was held at Prive Restaurant and Conference Centre.  Invitees included a cross section of local retailers, garages and fleet owners.  The event was also attended by Valvoline’s regional team comprising Federico Granados, Manager for Central America and Caribbean / OEM, Ramon Rivero, Supervisor, Central America and Caribbean, and Benjamin Sargent, Inside Sales, Caribbean.

The formalities were hosted by media personality Serala Ramlogan.  AdON’s Managing Director, Phil Achan gave a brief history of AdON’s history in the oil and gas segment.  He highlighted the need for companies to seek new opportunities, even in the midst of economic challenges.  Even as many companies have been forced to reduce hours and even cut staff, AdON has increased its workforce, and has invested heavily to ensure Valvoline’s continued success in the local market.

Federico Granados reaffirmed Valvoline’s commitment to growth in the local market, and gave an insight into why AdON was chosen to be their new authorized distributor.  Key to their future growth plans is the ability for each end market distributor to grow with the brand, and demonstrate the structure and processes that can support that growth.  He added that AdON met their requirements, particularly in the areas of staffing and management processes and procedures.  Benjamin Tyler summed up Valvoline’s position by reassuring all present that AdON and Trinidad & Tobago have Valvoline’s full marketing, sales and technical support.

The formalities were followed up with food and drinks, and guests were invited to enjoy the display of exotic and performance cars in Prive’s courtyard.  These included AdON’s own Subaru Impreza STI Spec-C circuit car, Ferrari 308GTS, BMW M5, Barely Legal’s custom Range Rover, and drift cars from Team Hoonigan.
