DOUG MALONEY

Now in his fifth decade of competition, Doug raced around the region in the 1970s Formula Caribbean Championship. After a short break, he returned in rallies and speed events in the 1980 & ‘90s, then went back to circuit racing in 2004, Group Champion at Bushy Park in 2004 & ‘07. He has rarely missed a SeaBoard Marine CMRC race in seven seasons, and has finished third at year-end three times (2008, ‘11 & ’13).

MARK MALONEY

CAR: Mazda RX-3

Mark first competed in 1999 in rallies and RallySprints, twice a top five finisher in the island’s International All-Stage Rally. He switched to karting, winning his first title in 2001, before a break, returning to circuit racing with his Mazda RX-3. Like father Doug, has rarely missed a SeaBoard Marine CMRC race in seven seasons – third in 2009 his best finish – and now races a Radical in the Suzuki Challenge Series SR3 Cup.

Car: Honda Civic

An accomplished all-rounder, Mark is a three-time Group Champion at Bushy Park (Overall Champion in 2013) and double SeaBoard Marine CMRC Group 2 Champion (2012 & ’14). A kart racer as a youngster, he recently returned and is leading the Easykart 125 class after four rounds, lies second in the Suzuki Challenge Series Swift Cup after three rounds and is also rallying a Group N Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX.

TREMAINE FORDE-CATWELL

Car: Daihatsu Charmant

A medal-winner from age six as a BMX rider, he continues to cycle competitively and has successfully represented Barbados around the region, including in Trinidad & Tobago; he started karting at age nine, winning the first of three titles (270 Sportsman, 310 Yamaha, X30) in 2010, also Champion Driver in 2012. Still a teenager, he made his car-racing debut in July 2014 at Bushy Park, where he is already a race-winner.
