It’s finally here! Drag racing is back at the Wallerfield International Raceway for an action packed weekend on December 10th and 11th 2016. After raising enough funds at the event on September 16th earlier this year, the track was stripped and repaired in two key areas along the straightaway which previously posed a threat to the vehicles as they approached top speeds down the ¼ mile.
Now that the surface is safer, drivers especially on the sub 10s cars, can now push their limits and hopefully drop their personal best times.
This drag racing weekend will be the final for 2016 and also the last event to conclude the 2016 Drag Racing Championship, the prize giving for this championship will be held later in December- more details on this as soon as the date and location has been finalized.
