Official TTASA Drag Racing Championship competition #3 has been cancelled
A message from the Executive Committee of TTASA:
We are deeply saddened to announce that due to the inclement weather conditions throughout this week and the conditions forecasted for this weekend, September 24th-25th, we will unfortunately be cancelling Round 3 of the 2022 Drag Racing Championship.
We know you have all been preparing those cars and bikes to put down your personal best times, but given these conditions, we will not be able to properly prepare the track and also, the weather will not allow a safe surface for racers to put their best forward. We’re making this decision today with the consideration of all parties in mind. The safety of the racers and ensuring their participation doesn’t warrant unnecessary bills and the inability to capitalize on their investment. The comfort of all those who leave their homes to come out and spectate. All of the sponsors who invest towards the growth and development of the sport.
We’ll continue looking at the weather conditions moving forward and keep you updated on the nearest possible date which we can make this event a success. Until then, keep safe, get that last minute prep on those monsters done and get ready for a great Drag Racing event in the near future.
