Drag Racing #3 (CANCELED)

The third round of Drag Racing 2022 Championship has been cancelled due to inclement weather alerts
Dear Drivers/Members,
Unfortunately, the weather delivered another curve ball with a weather alert in effect that takes us into the weekend. Additionally, we have seen low commitments from drivers to race this weekend. It is the executives’ view that we should be prudent with both the safety aspects and sponsorship investments, especially when drag racing requires special preparation.
Based on the present weather projections, we will suspend the track preparation, however if we do see an indication that the weather patterns have changed for Sunday, we will opt for a “no prep event” on Sunday only (timing included). However, if there is no indication of improvement in the weather patterns, we will postpone until November. A reasonable decision about Sunday can only be made by Friday. We ask that you consider the option of Sunday (weather permitting) so we can get an early indication of your interest. This will also help indicate the feasibility of Sunday’s event.
TTASA would like to remind our racers and race fans, due to covid-19 restrictions being lifted after the start of the racing season, we started racing almost 3 months late. However, we are happy to announce that TTASA’s 2023 calendar has been released and majority of our drag racing events are planned within the first 5 months of the year, starting in January. We would like to thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you soon!
