i have joined wires before and had no problems, just make sure you correct color code and you`re good to go . try using another camera to make sure the short (when the wires was cut) didnt damage your original cam.

a voltage regulator is the better option , because they stop the spike in current and also it keeps the voltage stable .basically it does the work of a surge also.

the thermostat rubber on the inside was worn and brittle so i`ll have to get a new one any how , and the hose had a little leak and was dropping on the fan so it was hard to spot the leak. what effect would no thermostat have on the engine and it`s operation ?

i solved the problem by taking out the thermostat and changing a hose clamp and it worked fine since then . thanks a lot for the help

ok i`ll check that i was hoping that would be the last resort but i guess that the prob , thanks a lot for the help

there are no signs of leaks and it was rebuilt cause the plastic top had a slight crack on it , could the thermostat have any thing to do with this

hello tuners, i got this led scanner with 3 wires one is power {pos] , 2 is {neg}, and the 3 is a neg that need to be connected to a neg output from the alarm , could anyone give me some assistance on this please.

if you are getting a little pull on either side when you let the sterring go, then you should aling it , i had the same problem and all i did was speed balance and aling and it`s gone.

that`s true i installed a couple of alarms myself and you need the car keys to program it, and the info is readily available.
