Hi, Had a similar problem. Turned out to be my engine head cover/ tappet cover seals were bad. One really. It was leaking oil onto my spark plug n causing the lack of power and "hold back" feeling when I released the accelerator/X. Cost me$20 each as I changed them all (four total). And no...
