HELP: 2007 Hilux Fuel Warning Light not coming off

My fuel warning light came on and just kept blinking even after draining and changing the element. Checked the float and contacts are opening and closing, but not sure why the light just wont go off. Based on what I see, when the float is down, the light is supposed to be off, and when there it is w...

Re: Inspecting your Truck in Licensing Office

Well seeing that they going to start re-enforcing these things, I need to get my inspection up to par. Quick question though, does the person whose name is on the Certified Copy need to be there? Or anyone can do and do the inspection process? Do they ask for ID to confirm that you are the owner of ...

L.F Hilux AC Compressor Clutch

Based on the feedback I get from a few Hilux owners, this AC compressor clutch, or aka "field coil" seems to be a prominent problem. I know some people rewire and bake it over, but it seems it doesn't hold out too long after. Anybody know where sells this new other than TTTL? Have other va...

WTK: Legal means to get neighbour to move cow

I know this could open the gate for a number of answers, but I have this persistent neighbor who continues to put his cow in front my property and let it graze. Naturally the cow does his business on my driveway and I've spoken to him many times about it, but he's very ignorant. Now I know there are...

WTK: Hilux 2.5L Intercooler Install?

Hey Guys, Can the 2.5L Hilux take an intercooler? Has anyone ever ventured into it? I'm not familiar with the engine makeup or layout of the 2.5 and the 3.0, but I believe the 3.0 has the top mounted intercooler. Would it be as simple as getting a 3.0 intercooler and installing it, and either cuttin...

HELP: Hilux Wing Mirror Noise

When driving upwards of 100 kph I notice that the wing mirrors make a loud whistling sound as the wind hits it. It took me a while to determine where the noise was coming from but eventually I pin point the issue to the mirrors. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and what they did to resolve it?

WTK: How to adjust march brake shoes?

Hi guys, I'm a Toyota man and accustomed to the adjusting of the brakes with the turning the star wheel. Last week I needed to change the brake shoes on a march and found a totally different brake setup. From what I understand, the brakes on these now have a wedge that brings the liners either furth...
