Re: Cat Lover's Thread

The size of poop is a dog. Unless it's a monster cat. My apologies. The poop sinks the grass around it. Not really a hole per say. I'm looking to get a wifi bulb camera to catch them. Tomorrow I will try and set the trap Ahhhh yes, you met some pests. they don't bury their poop. They showing you th...

Re: Cat Lover's Thread

No cats there anymore... I just established a lawn and since putting the lawn their is poop in my lawn.. I bought bird cage wire and blocked the space under the gate. However there is still poop and from my investigation and analysis it smells like high grade purina dog poop. So i think it's a dog ...

Re: Cat Lover's Thread

As if snakes and big cats weren't enough problems now it has caimans.

Caiman ventured in next door some months ago. Caught it and had to call the cops to take me to a river to let it go.

I wish I could have seen the face of the cop that took the call.

Re: Cat Lover's Thread

I hated cats all my life, I know all too well the terror they are. feral cats are not the same as house cats. I have house cats and they are darlings, so are most I know that people own. feral cats are another animal yes. I don't condone killing any animal without reason but my dog usually took care...

Re: What the Best Split level AC Units...Carrier LG, Panasonic?

Any decent 9k btu around? Need something quiet for a small studio workspace. Best you invest in a 12000 btu inverter. If you get a 9k you might save about $50.00 on the cost difference with a 12k. With the small size and heat load your compressor will cycle a lot and shorten its lifespan. Wont have...

Re: What the Best Split level AC Units...Carrier LG, Panasonic?

How much will you save per month or year running an inverter type 18000 btu compared to normal? Talked about this some time back. You can consume more electricity with these as opposed to the traditional type. They have an operating range for current draw. For comparison average 12000 btu runs at j...

Re: What the Best Split level AC Units...Carrier LG, Panasonic?

We cut wall, run all lines in cieling in PVC sleeve after insulating them and added expanding foam to the ends to cap them with a grade so any condensation will run outside towards the hole in the wall where the trunking is behind the house. The request was nothing must show on the sides and front. ...

An man who has years of electrical experience and does electrical work for people put lines in the wall and plaster it just so. I had to tell him put it in conduit. Re: What the Best Split level AC Units...Carrier LG, Panasonic?

We cut the wall and used the hollow red brick to run the lines. Trunking was not matching the theme so we removed the trunking and did this. All lines insulated and expanding foam was to be added as extra insulation prior to plastering. Specific instructions given to not add plenty as it expands a l...

Re: E25: 6 15S build

I overthinking things, once the voltage remains the same the current is halved when the impedance doubles. The voltage is a constant here.

V = I * R

14v = 14A * 1 ohm

14V = 7A * 2 ohm

I distorting P=IV and V=IR here. Settling in :lol:

I think I'm missing something. Got some painkillers. Maybe someone else can chime in cuz I in no state to think straight. It has some sense to it if you ask me. But if you increase load on a 1 ohm amp to maybe 8 ohm I can't see current consumption being reduced drastically. It should be close to the...

Maybe in my mind or pain affecting my way of thinking. The power output is should be halved everytime the impedance is doubled. In order for it to stay the same when the impedance doubled current draw will have to double provided voltage is a constant. So if the impedance is doubled the current draw...
