Re: Civic FD1 transmission

D3 gives u from 1st - 3rd but from what i suspect doesn't allow torque converter lock up in 2nd and 3rd. but D gives u lock up in 2,3,4 & 5

Re: Civic FD1 transmission

it doesnt seem to be flaring its like driving over a rumble strip or a roughly patched road. thats the feeling and it happens between 1500 - 2000 rpm and i believe it happens when transmission goes into torque converter lock up. it doesnt happen it D3 but happens in D at the same rpm range

Re: Blubird Sylphy Owners club

Hey ordered my sylphy but it only came with one key.

The key it came with is the ordinary key shape with the remote end not the smart key

Question can I just cut a key that would work or would I need to get a key from the dealer

Re: Blubird Sylphy Owners club

I think you probably not feeling the difference. Next time you press the button press on the gas a bit and release, when you do this the RPMs should stay up and the car should cut back speed on it's own. Sports Mode burns more gas as well, just as Fearless noted. Yh I know it burns more gas i did s...
