Re: Advice with sq install

Sounds like you have a lot of other issues.

Hint. Acoustic phase is not the same as electrical Phase.

You'd want to be sure all speakers are in acoustic phase.

Re: Advice with sq install

10" on doors is do-able. The focal coaxials are louder because they are more efficient.

Adjust your fader, with a bias to the front.

Any BB Dtek50/60/Priv owners?

Anyone took the dive and got one of these handsets?

I need an actual hands on review of them before I take the plunge myself.

Thanks in advance for no negative comments.

Make a mold of it, and pull fresh fiberglass copies off it. That way you wont have issues with plastic/fiberglass/filler adhesion.

Re: Official BlackBerry Thread

Any Dtek50 or Priv owners? Digismell is really pissing me off with their lack of support for Blackberry. I feel like a traitor. I walk around with a pos Alcatel just for voice and have my Leap for everything else. I saw several reviewers lamenting that the BB hub is nothing like the hub on BB10. Tha...

Sonus Fabology - Advanced Car Audio Fabrication Training

Folks,

I would like to share our experiences.

Incidentally enough, we were informed that we were the first from Trinidad to have gone through this level of formal training from Sonus. Proud indeed.

Hope you enjoy the write up.

Re: Alpine H701

Tariq, I think you're mixing up the 701. Neither the 80prs nor the 9887 had independent equalisers for front rear and sub, with the ability to do separate L+R. For sure they don't have 30 bands of anything. with the exception of Front2 and sub, you had 2 pairs of bandpassable channels. It may be a 1...

Re: WTK Budget SQ Components

My tweeter rant is as follows... A tweeter is supposed to play treble. My own definition of treble is upper 6k. Many may disagree, that's fine. Metallic dome sound better at "lower" frequencies don't they? Why? Is upper midrange from a tweeter so important? [/rant]. [opinion] Crossing twee...

the best I ever heard was metallic dome tweeters. they sound more realistic, dynamic and lifelike. Nothing like hearing the cymbal and high hat on a metal dome What sounds best for you, may not sound the same for someone else. A cheap voltage reg is a LM350 and an old cpu heatsink, and you good for 3A.

Even less hastle is a LM7805. Good for 1A. Nothing additional required.

Legacy Audiocontrol equipment, gathered over time, or yesterday, is good for one thing. a Collection. An I say this, owning a mint pair of EQT's and a 4xs. Neither of which may never ever see an install. I have owned and used the System 90 model 11. It crudely achieves spatial correction by phase sh...
