Got a QD32 in my e24 maxi and it runs great! DO NOT mate it to a TD27 box...it will destroy it in 6 to 8 months! I bought the maxi with the understanding that the entire drive train was 32 but, as it turned out, box was 27, engine and diff 32. Found it felt like it needed another gear! 4th gear sync...

If you need a 2nd mechanical opinion call 684-4883 and let him have a look at it ... these engines are a lot more durable than 233 000km.

I own a 2000 4X2 Hilux (LN145 - 2.4D) and recently heard a knock coming from about the 3rd cylinder.
