ask my mech, my head was recently PP and with ease i reach to 170 without going into D3.

^^ Exactly. The problem is that the D4 gear ratio is too low .... good for fuel economy, not for performance. The B16A cannot overcome the final drive ratio and therefore is out of the VTEC powerband ... 5500 rpm +. A 5 speed auto would've been better. probably true. actually by logic it is true. b...

ES master kit almost a year now on my EK4 and no issues whatsoever. very stiff at first but u get used to it.

brace yourself for biting around corners and the car will handle A LOT better!

see them 2 thingy thing they, they are call vtec solenoids, if its got 2 its 3stage as they say, and if its 1 , single stage vtec http://forums.trinituner.com/upload/data/e5/D15B.jpg if your changing the head, u need to wire over for the vtec as well as get a vtec ecu... good luck if thats the case...

EK4 SiR - B16A5

Quaker State 15w40. That's what my mech Kazim puts and I real respect his choice as one of, if not, the best Honda mech in the country.

Between oil changes I usually top it up with a little bit of oil though, since the VTEC burns oil. So I usually keep a quart extra lying around.
