Re: Why is Trinidad so UNDER powered Digitally?

Trinidad and Tobago would never move to chip debit cards cuz there is no profit in it....Central bank mandated the change to chip cards January 2019 with a deadline of December 2019 yet no organization is ready in January 2020...why? lack of penalties, fines or overall consequences. Scotia bank is ...

Re: Why is Trinidad so UNDER powered Digitally?

^^ Exactly. Up to now bmobile cant get their online billing sorted out for residential bills. Why should we have to pay estimated amounts to the account and then a credit applied after? They also take a few days to post payments when made online or at other payments locations so these may be a deter...

Re: expedia

Never used expedia but used alamo.com to book from National/Alamo - thats a Massy company

or just call one of the local rental companies and do it over the phone. They tend to give a better rate to locals
Sheppy's Rental and KCNN are highly recommended.

Re: Which Credit Card Would give you best returns/points

1usd = 1 point/mile. I think they are using 6.80TTD to convert.

so yea you basically need to spend 20,000USD to get a free return ticket to FLL or NYC

Some cards have a paywave logo, kinda like a wifi icon. Seen them use it at a starbucks already, they just tap the card on the machine and it processes. But i think only small transactions are allowed.

Re: Online Banking Transfer

I dont think Scotia has that facility to pay directly to your scotia credit card yet. RBC has it. You might have to put it to your scotia savings then transfer to credit card. or put in an envelope with credit card number written on it and deposit as a bill payment. The new scotia ATMs only allow 50...

Re: The Maracas Beach BYPASS road? well???

I woulda think it was a good idea to not have pedestrians crossing a busy roadway.
Whoever grand idea it was to have the vendors booths on the beach with the front facing the sea.

That project failed on so many levels and ppl pocket millions

From the vid of it docking, that space that's level with the pier is under the boat.
