Re: AE110/111 Thread

The 205/50R15 didn't touch. It was the 205/60R14 that used to touch with a full car. That was easily fixed though. If you're changing the tyres, going 205/50R15 wouldn't solve the 'hard ride' issue though. Try a 195/60R15 @ 30psi when you change again and see. You could try 205/55R15 as well but you...

Re: AE110/111 Thread

Start with the tyres and work your way up to the shocks. I put on 205/60R14 and it immediately made a huge difference over the 205/50R15 I was on. It used to touch the back fender with weight though, until I made some small modifications to the wheel well. 185/70R14 and 195/60R15 sizes should work w...

A bit more reloading efficiency and that would be an awesome alternative.

Good luck finding tokico oil shocks, do let us know if you do.

You could also try adjusting the tyre pressure for a softer ride. What profile tyre you are running?

If you don't have any amps running then use a 13 plate. Should be roughly 7 something for a maintenance free one.

Re: vibrations over 80km/h

If it just needs balancing, the shake on your steering wheel should stop.

If you have a bent rim or ditches you may still feel a vibration on the floor of the car after balancing at high speed and a slightly bumpy ride at low speed.

When they spin it on the balancer they would know what is what.

Re: W.T.K Right Profile tire

Most stock ek3s with 17" rims use 205/40R17 or 205/45R17 with no touching problem.

Ideally, I'd advise you go with 14" or 15" rims with a higher profile tyre. It will prolong the suspension life and give a much more comfortable ride.
