can you get a credit card from a bank an you dont have an account there? You can as long as your credit score/ history is satisfactory.. Quick question.....If I use my Credit Card to purchase foreign currency over the counter at a Forex Kiosk (like Travelex) (as opposed to using their ATMs) , will that be treated as a regular purchase?or will it be treated as a cash advance and charges will be applied accordingly?

Scotia Aero Platinum ftw....each us$ spent = 1 aero point Platinum and Black :) And you can use points for cash back when travelling as well.... There are tons of other features for traveling on it as well. Whats the annual fee for the Aerocard? could not find it on scotiabank's website. 600TTD

CAL only have 12 B737 and 2 B767 in their fleet .. where them getting that money.. Let the pilots pay for that.. because the aircraft was fully functional... I haven't banked with RBC in quite a while so I'm not sure what their ATM cards are like now, but if the card has the Cirrus logo on the back of it you can use that to withdraw cash at foreign ATMs ( which display the Cirrus logo) instead of using your credit card. Shouldn't be a problem at any atm displaying the Visa logo....as long as you know your PIN. Cash-advance fees will apply, plus any foreign transaction fee.
