I changed my spacewagon 4g93 engine to a mivec 4g93 engine. Can anyone assist me with any information as to the pros and cons of such an engine?

Is it easy to get parts? what about gas consumption?

@ The Syndicate. Previous engine was a 4G93 carborator. We put in a 4G93 fuel injected. Both Mitsubishi.

hmmm they said they don't do that kinda rewiring. Anybody else has one?

Hey everyone, when you change your engine do you have to inform your insurance company? If you don't what are the repercussions? Does changing your engine change you premiums?

Will a 4G93T engine work with a 4G93 transmission? Or should I buy the complete 4G93T engine and transmission?

Well if I can find a 4G93 Gdi again I will seriously consider taking it. I just spoke to someone I know who has a (shark mouth galant) and he said he has had absolutely no problems with his GDI.

From reading all the comments, I can assume that you guys really love your GDI engine and by and large have no problems with them (major problems that is). I need one to replace my 4G93 carborater engine from my space wagon but my mechanic is advising me against it.

Well I looked it up and I understand the worry about them. I have a serious problem though as I need to choose but would really like some more advice as to them. I now have a chance to purchase a 2006 4G94 GDI but my mechanic is still advising against it.

hmmmmm, the way he made is sound it's like those engines are absolutely no good. I had the opportunity to get one and passed it up based on his advice.
