Re: wtk AC Console Conversion

The analog AC console works with a fine cables attached behind them adjusting the flaps which controls the vents and temp, the digital ones would be motorized. Everything behind the dash would have to be swapped out, VERY COSTLY

Re: Known problems in the NZE 141 Corolla Fielder

Thanks striver, so is it that the tranny builds up more heat than other trannys because they are sealed resulting in the oil to break down and causing the clutches to burn causing the oil to look black in colour ?

OEM recommends SAE 80W-90 and the AMSOIL Long Life Synthetic Gear Lube 75W-90 replaces competitors' 75W-90 and 80W-90 viscosity grades. The magetic drain plug had filings looking like are thick grease. I even used the AMSOIL Slip-LockĀ® friction modifier additive

Re: WTK: Best Shocks for ranger

If your looking for comfort, it's best u go with an oil shock such as KYB OIL SHOCKS. Otherwise stick to the KYB GAS SHOCK, similar to stock ride and that's rough. You can adjust the torsion bar are few turns down and the ride would get softer. The back would be are matter of removing some of the le...

Re: Where to a Ford Ranger transmission repaired / changed?

You could talk to Joe Bhagwandeen (cell # 290-8967), he could give u some advise. He is the service manager at Mc Enearney motors in pos. Mc Enearney motors deal with Jenton's on Aranguez main road to have their transmission repaired. Even the 2010 hirider has a similar problem.
