Re: Random Stuff in Car Audio ...

Genesis initially manufactured amplifiers for DLS under a branding arrangement. They were essentially Genesis amplifiers with a DLS badge. Some time after, DLS started to manufacture their own line that was almost identical to Genesis in appearance. Genesis then ended the relationship with DLS. Asid...

Re: Random Stuff in Car Audio ...

For some reason the Ultimate line never held any real value. The A6 kicks around on eBay for less than 350us often.

Certain models were knocked off by another Asian build house. So just to be careful with that.

Re: Image Dynamics

*coughJLcough Price doesn't seem to be comparable. I would probably place the ID MAX within the upper lines of JL (W6/7). Not sure what the retail is now (I've been out of it for some time). But I can't recall those JL woofers being in a similar price point. Did arc audio drop the flatline woofers?

Re: Image Dynamics

Where can you currently get Image Dynamics locally? I don't think you can get ID locally anymore. Some stores may still have one or two pieces of stock that didn't sell from over the years like JDM. You can try out Arc if you can't get the ID. Very similar sound and performance imo. I've called aro...

Re: Where can I get Fiberglass Insulation?

I wasn't even going to go through all that. At 400F I saw they have a number of them that come with an LCD and wired prob. seems to be used mostly for cooking. pid controller is what you looking for, but wont use the relay trip, just the thermocouple to read. requires power though. tuner here Nervew...

Re: Where can I get Fiberglass Insulation?

Thanks man. You happen to know where I could get one of those external thermometers with the probes that I can feed into the oven? Somewhere locally I mean ( I see them online for like 15us but the shipping delays are insane) I have an infrared gun but it's counterproductive to always be opening the...

Re: Where can I get Fiberglass Insulation?

400F.

It was about 2" of fiberglass lined with foil.

It's going to be sandwiched between the internal and external panels of oven.

I think it should be sufficient.

Re: Where can I get Fiberglass Insulation?

I got it at Peake's.

They sell it by the foot (4feet width). So it's about $11.00/4sq feet.

Good value.

Where can I get Fiberglass Insulation?

Fellas I'm looking for about 15-20 sq feet of fiberglass insulation to build a powder coating oven. It looks like the ones in the photos (but I'm only looking for ones about .75"-1" thick). Bhagwansinghs has a roll for $500 but it's way more than I need. Anyone know where I can get this in...

The Facebook Court already judge the man that find the body yes, without even knowing all the details of how he came across the discovery.

Pretty sure this is going to have a serious spinoff effect on the "see something, say something" agenda that everybody pushing.

Any other brand offers a 120v 12000BTU spilt unit?

I've bought a Peake's unit before but they are currently out of stock.

Nah it's one of the standard heavy iron bottles. Just smaller than the usual 220cf that they rent.

I only use it for mobile jobs now.

I Tig weld reactive metals quite alot (mostly stainless but a little inconel and titanium).

So a great deal of my argon is spent on postflow and backpurging.

Yeah this is ideal. Hopefully I can reach a point where I can have two own bottles. I must say, it burned a little - but overall wasn't ...
