Re: The official tropical weather thread 2019

remember last year or the year before, the tiida get wash away in caura? I found a perfect video of a waterfall flash food. Thunderstorm happened miles away up in the mountains. It is insane and scary. No warning at all, it's just a normal waterfall and then a torrent. 4 minutes later and it looks ...

Re: Is the Toyota Aqua good?

Bad news about the Honda parts. I hoping i don't get in any accident for a parts repair.
How come parts dealers in Bamboo don't have for the RORO Hondas we're getting now? They're selling really well in Japan and the Far East countries.

Re: Sat Maharaj - RIP

This is what i'm thinking. People like that only sought to keep the country divided by "preserving" culture. And thus racially divided as well, and ensured that the lines were continually drawn over and over when most people didn't care. It's not Sat alone, there are people on other sides ...

Re: The official tropical weather thread 2019

Flash flooding in places like that is very sudden and intense. Most times there is nothing anyone could have done to avoid it. Water in a massive torrent at great speed can just appear within a second at a mountain waterfall or river valley bend with no warning as the rainfall source can be further ...

So they don't have serious medical treatment in Trinidad for animal bites? They eh have antibiotics and thing here? Nah, wait hold up, that does NOT reflect the healthcare here. Re: Is the Toyota Aqua good?

You all remember when Neal&Massy used to sell the Nissan B11 here, which they used to assemble right here in TT? Well I don't remember but my father had one and he told me that's how he could afford a car in 1984. And you think they installed all the features required by law as the ones made and...

Re: Is the Toyota Aqua good?

Yeah and they are named Prius C in other markets like Singapore and Malaysia, but it's made for that market. It's like comparing a basic model 2016 RAV-4 sold from Toyota Trinidad vs. a basic model 2016 RAV-4 sold in USA/EU vs. a fully loaded used model for JDM. Same name and look, but different fea...

Prius-C in USA. Which is loaded with features in the basic model for the USA/EU market by law... the used Aqua basic L and S models are big for export in 3rd world budget for Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Trinidad, etc. and very limited in features and safety options. There is the G model which is fully load...

If that's what you can afford right now, then yes. If you have access to more money then no. There are better RORO hybrid cars available like Honda Vezel and Fit and Toyota Fielder.

I feel you could just check the UWI undergraduate booklet for Faculty of Engineering available online to find out the pre-requisites to enter the programme. Specifically section 3.15 page 24.

What you think of that plan?

Re: 3 swine flu deaths confirmed

What the authorities need to do here is move very quickly, immediately determine if it's the H1N1 virus and quarantine the family. Because most likely they are all carriers and will get sick within a week. They were also unknowledgeable about how the H1N1 vaccine works, and the Min. of Health needs ...

It was standstill traffic, I was given right by the truck driver. I inched my way into the inner lane and given way by a 2nd car to get there. I was 1/4 into the inner lane and Hilux driver thought none of that, that 1.5 meters makes all the difference in the world and saves an hour of travel time. ...
