Can anyone confirm for me the A/C compressor part number for a 2005 Mazda 3?

Also, is it the same part on US cars as Japanese cars.

Aside from being biased towards the Subaru..... You gotta consider the maintenance costs and parts availability for the Audi.... with the Subaru you have access locally to a host of vendors with OEM and after market parts. With the Audi you have Southern Sales....... and not sure who else to be hone...

From a practical standpoint I've used Redline in everything from my SR20 B13 to my EJ20 WRX and NEVER had a problem in any of my 5 cars so far....

20W50 is what i use. One of the key reasons for my choice was availabilty as well. You can get Redline get at more retailers than royal purple....

lyndondz , 6.5" in the front and 5.25" in the back. note that the speakers are rivetted on to a plastic mounting, which is then screwed onto the door. 6 x 9s will fit in the backdash, but u will have to cut the metal below the backdash. i won't advise cutting it, but its all up to u. thinking of buying a local 2004 CS3 lancer as a daily driver.

What i want to know is

1) Do they have a CVT transmission?

2) Are these local trannies prone to problems like the Foreign used?

3) Any other advice?

tuners, I'm considering buying one of the ES series Civics but i'm concerned as to the CVT tranny that some (if not all) come with. Do these trannies hold up over time? Are replacements avail in the bamboo? How can i tell on a test drive if the tranny is in good order or not? All answers appreciated...
