correct tho.
Maybe things will be different in a controlled environment..
same license plate too? anyway, I think these cars have much mroe space in the front than the mini does so probably anything from a Starlet 1.3 turbo to a B15C5 will fit. I'm not sure what the subframe design on the 1100 is like but I don't think it'll be able to withstand the power by any of the ne...
Well, I went there to get my velocity joint changed on Saturday. I find the guy working on my car did a good job. if ya have any questions check horsepowrjunki. Generally I wouldn't go to a mechanic to have my oil and plugs changed. IMHO it's better to go out and buy the proper tools to do periodic ...
Nah.. police duz wanna pull ya over for driving with ya headlights on and ask if u trying to signal to drivers in the opposite lane that they're timing.
Reminds me of when I was changing my clutch release bearing on the mini.. cept that the bell housing bolts on the back of the engine had enough space for 1/2 flat turns instead of 1/4 turns. In retrospect I should've taken off my engine mount first, jacked up that side of the engine and everything w...
In many cases the higher octane of premium is not necessary. Almost all the literature on the web say that once the cars don't ping on the lower octane then it doesn't make any sense spending extra money on high octane.
Surely the one that dry has is a SHOCK and the one they used is a spring. Springs aren't so good for sudden movements like what you'll get with the engine rocking.
In my swift they suggest 10w-30. With the heat in trinidad no way I gonna run such a thin oil. The car was run on Mobil 15w-50 full synthetic and now I've switched to castrol syntec blend 20w50. I figure with the age of the engine it'll need a slightly thicker oil. (it's close to 200,000km)

dunno.. definitely not as much as the VTEC lobe tho. I also think the ramp on the VTEC lobe is a lot sharper so even tho the durations may be close the valves are open a little more throughout the cycle and will create more power.
heh, my intake cam has almost the same duration 232deg as opposed to 240deg and the exhaust is cam in the swift is 224 deg as opposed to your 227deg high lift VTEC cam so I kind *do* have 1/2 VTEC
^^ but this is misleading the public, as well as stating octane numbers that are waaaay off. Hence you have people driving around with their engines pinging like crazy.
so if "regular" is 87 PON "mid-grade" is 89 PON and "premium" is 92-93 PON then why are they calling "regular" super and "mid-grade" premium in Trinidad?
