Re: The price of tomatoes

I highly recommend watching Clarkson's Farm on Amazon. You get a much better insight to how farmers operate. Very insightful indeed. I think the only way we can achieve those levels of production is if farmers stop fighting down each other and come together, perhaps as co-ops. But this is Trinidad.

Re: Republic Online Banking

In any first-class company CIO/CEO or someone senior who signed off of this is held responsible. I find it very disingenuous to blame the volume users for this issue, and to downplay the impact to the user. Also, this was timed very badly - close to the time of the month when people have to pay for...

How soapy the water has to be?

You have to reapply at least once a week until it's gone. A tbsp of rubbing alcohol per gallon in the mix also helps. Worked for me on citrus and guava.

Re: Lockdown Home Garden thread. Post your homegrown plants here

There is an empty lot of land behind my house. I tried planting bigan, ochro, tomato and pepper last lockdown but that didn't turn out to well as the plants didn't bear and eventually died. Wifey and father in law said I needed to dig drainage trenches between the rows of plants and mould up the ba...

As you're on the topic of pressure washers, I've been eyeing this for sometime. Nowhere locally seems to sell this and Hadden says that this is not available as it's for US market only. I don't want one with wheels as I'd ultimately desire a fixed pressure washing station and the unit as pictured w...

Many of the local hardware stores sell that diameter line. Bhagwansingh, Peaks, SSL, typically have it available.
