I was wondering if his street car was ever turbocharged? if not then his car use to run low 14s n/a.

That was Aboud's street civic. Yuri's street car turned into the drag car, then back to street car.

Dry I thought Yuri had 2 cars. The drag car was eventually sold to Mark singh(his circuit car).

^ you taught wrong. Yuri was never NA. He did 14's with NOS then droped to high 13's with the same engine before blowing it. He then rebuilt and did 12's with a full race model with his street car. His problem was traction, everytime they used the NOS + Turbo then car would be slower. Back in those days there was a war to see who was the better mechanic Prentice or Tola and who could go faster Aboud or Yuri.

Aboud ran 11.9 with his hatch and yuri ran low 12s with his.
I remember people were itchin to see these two cars run each other for that entire year, but there were always problems either one way or the other. they never had a clean heads up race.

Never saw Yuri"s car on the track after that and Aboud brought in the coupe after that.

13s X2. If it was 12s den they wouilda benn talkin bout dat car couase all dem nos and turbo civics were now breakin into the 12s. Aboud street car(turbo), Yancy hatch(nitrous low13s) and freshcut civic 12.5(turbo).
No n/a civic was runin ne where close to them times.Fixables civic use to run low 15s, jude yellow 4dr use to run around de same time. until pantin came out with the b20 eg hatch and ran 13s.

its between pantin and mark singh. both did 13s. dont know which one had quicker et. but hpoefully soon if all goes well with the track we should be seein some Ks out there hopefully runin quicker than them.

Hunt civic(crouching tiger circuit car) would be ah nice car to see run de 1/4.
