First pull I made 128Hp, I was very disappointed but then we warmed up a little and made another pass, that yelled 137Hp. The graph looked really good, Power everywhere. After the 2nd pull I installed some new plugs and the power dropped off to 132Hp, ran her again for 2 more pulls but the power kept dropping off 131,130,128. Asked a coupled of guys after the dyno pulls and they informed me about heatsoke. Reinstalled the old plugs after 10mins cool down and made 134hp, apparently the new plugs gaping was way off.

The type-r exhaust upgrade works....

I think the 134 is because of the heat on the dyno, He didnt have the big fans. there was a little one on the rad alone.
First pull i made 128hp the temp on the gauge was reading 175, we waited 5 2min till the temp went to 190 then got the 137. After we cut off and change the plugs (which took 5 min) dyoned and got 132hp. I made 2 more pulls back to back and the power just keep falling 131, 130. I then took out the plugs and put in the old ones waited 10 mins and then dynoed, that's how I got the 134. Did some reading and it looks like heat caused the drop.

It would seem im not the only one who wrapped up their intake..
What material you use? I bought some intake heat reflector down from the states and wrapped it myself.. Made quite a difference when it came to heat soak at idle..

Anyway, I would have honestly expected a bigger change than that with a better flowing exhaust

The peak gain doesnt seem that much, however improvements can be seen from around 5800 RPM all the way to the limiter...nicely done

The engine is old, thats why I made such low HP. If I rebuild the engine it will def make more power.
The last dyno stock was 135HP

How was the tuning session? How many runs did you have to take to fully tune and at what cost? Sorry to keep asking but after doing a fairly similar build I have to tune as well..

Honestly, if the engine was brand new, what would you theoretically expect for the same setup?

To mitsu4life, do you do installation of electronic components?

Well i install gauges, vafc's/safc's etc. more of a hobby not a trade. What you need installed?

Dyno fee's are $300/hr or $150 for 3 pulls, that was when I dyno'd my car a few months back.
