Fellas,
Anyone had transmission issues with their cf9 accord?

My friend bought one, it worked for two days before the transmission wont even move the car. Started as a small jolt when accelerating from a rollling stop.

Transmission was replaced and same issue occurred. Mechanic states it might be the solenoids (what he terms pressure valves)

Any thoughs or advice would be appreciated.

Yep, the automatic transmissions in all 6th gen Accords are known weak points (by Honda standards) compared to other accords...
Very very strong motor though, so if you keep the trans healthy the car will go forever..

The only real way to keep those transmissions going without trouble is:

1. Change your trans fluid with Genuine Honda ATF every 30,000km

optionals are:
Install an in-line transmission filter and a small transmission cooler...
