DIY - SRS Reset

this is a simple step by step method to reset your SRS system in case you decide to change your steering etc

Step 1
locate the srs jack in the fuse box, u will need to remove the bottom part of the dash under the steering , the jack is shown in the pic below to ensure you have the correct jack , the socket the jack is in has no pins

Step 2

insert a paper clip in the socket as shown below

step 3

turn the ignition on DO NOT START THE CAR . the SRS light will come on for about 7 seconds and then go off , pull out the paper clip , after about 4 secs the light will come on again and blink twice
Turn off the ignition

wait about 15 secs and turn on the car , SRS light will stay on for about 5 secs as is normal and then turn off

your SRS system is now reset .
