Postby 15devils » March 25th, 2020, 5:43 pm

any new crv owners have that recall issue , where there is a gas smell in the cabin ? I saw online its because of a ecu map error.
anyone reported or experience anything like that ?
thanks

I use super. I have used premium when there was no super available.

Reviving an old thread.

Any up to date issues?

Looking for a mechanic who currently works at the firm and does personal jobs on this model.

No issues personally but there is a recall on my 2018 for the fuel pump. I have an appointment in May to get it changed (at no cost).

The fuel pump problem occurs even with the JDM model. The simple fix is to use the pump from the previous model. But of course the locally sold ones will be under dealer's warranty, so that matter is solved.
PM me if anyone needs a spare smartkey for the JDM model.
Peace.

On my way to service yesterday, I attempted to close the sunroof shade. On doing so I heard a loud snap that made me jump. The slider clip broke. Vehicle came off warranty on 1st May.

Waiting to hear on a decision from the service department.

They will.

Seeing online that's it's common issue.

Ok Great. Did you get the part number by chance?

Nothing yet. Will check in with their service department next week.

Another trinidadian reported the issue on a CRV forum. Seems to be a known issue.

Yes it was sorted out. The sunroof shade with the clips was changed out. ANSA outsourced the job to a private firm.
