The "BEST" Turbo Upgrade for Evo 4G63 daily driver

Postby Sanctifier » January 19th, 2007, 8:35 pm

UPDATE:
Perhaps the most promising and cost effective 4G63 street turbo upgrade to date.
Link---> FP EVOGreen turbo (a.k.a. Buschur 20G-9 LT) ...Scroll to 13th post on page 1.

How does 450 WHP and 450lb-ft on C-16 sound?
Okay how about 350 WHP on 93 octane pump gas :?:
BTW with little lag... NO surge and beefy mid-range and top-end... :shocked!:
Design: Flow rating = 47 lb/min / Pressure Ratio capability beyond 3.7:1 without surge.

... Thought so :!: ...

^ ^ ^ Leave it "STOCK" ... :?: ... Okay!...
With Greddy PROFEC B Spec II...Gyrodisk (?) rotors etc. etc. that's hardly stock.
And you always saying... "Iz only small change!... Is only money!".... :?: ...

BTW at least FIVE 2nrs that I know of are already going for the EvoGREEN/20G-9 LT.
For sure one has it already... and at least two others have one on order AFAIK.
Nope!... Don't ask me any names please. It's their business. You'll see soon enough. :D

I Fear No one................ STOCK Clutch and all.............

My Stock Turbo works fine I run at 12 psi 90% of the time,
and you know dem Brembos are prone to warping hence the 2 piece rotors.

When I get my work car its a different story.

It's always the other 10% TREX... ALWAYS the other 10%...
Anyway your "stock" turbo is a TME/RS 10.5 TiAl. Not really run-of-the-mill like an E7 9.8

BTW I heard you might even sell the "6." True or false?

^ ^ ^ New (not yet released) Buschur GT35R kit may be even better gerard.
Still IMHO the GT35R's are less suitable for AutoX compared to the EvoGREEN/LT.

EvoGREEN will definately give better flexibility and be more "user friendly" in a daily driver. Better milage too... Those are the most important issues for my application.
... and "bang-for-the-buck" is the icing on the cake compared to the cost of a GT35R kit.
AMS GT35R = $4,550 US = $28980 TT + Duty & VAT = $43,345 TT... :shocked!:
EvoGREEN/LT WITH Duty & VAT = <$17,500 TT 8-) ...$25,845 TT for an extra 100 WHP :?:
Even if you get them duty free EvoGREEN is > $17,000 cheaper. Nope I can't afford that.
