Postby Grind » January 21st, 2007, 4:56 pm

Lots of people chrome their engine and vehicle body parts like in the pics below. How and where is this done?

afaik trincity chrome(in trinicty industrial estate) and mustaphas in el socorro are the only places that do chroming
take some advice, don't do any chroming by any of them until like march, cause pan does take precedence now

I have seen some pretty impressive door handles though

the place in trincity is iffy IMHO
I went there once, they did not even have an office...none of the guys in toe work area had a clue as to what was going on........based on that alone, I would not trust them with anything as important as an engine block......chroming a steel pan is one thing, but when u dealing with engine parts, u need someone who has the experience......

i did many many items at trincity, never had a problem and the one time when i did, guy just did it over, no scene, collected next day
there was an old guy there who had them boy on their toes, but he died now so maybe things are not as they used to be

Are iffy IMHO and afaik trincity chrome the same place?
Dave, from your experience, how does the price go for chroming items.
